Affordable. Well priced high quality fertility treatment..

At Reproductive Medicine Albury we aim to deliver high quality, affordable infertility treatments. We have structured our fees to enable the majority of the costs to be covered by Medicare and the Extended Medicare Safety Net (EMSN). Private health hospital cover further reduces your costs.

Once your type of treatment has been determined, a Patient Administration team member will meet with you to step you through understanding the Extended Medicare Safety Net, provide you with written fee advice and
assist you in dealing with Medicare and your health fund, if applicable. They will help you manage your
payments and are available by phone to discuss any concerns you may have.

Once you have reached your Extended Medicare Safety Net Threshold typical out of pocket costs are as follows:

  • IVF – $2950.00
  • Frozen Embryo Transfer – $878.00
  • Artificial Insemination – $852.00

If an excess of good quality embryos are created you will be given the opportunity to have these frozen and stored for later use. If you decide to do this the cost is $465, which includes your first twelve months storage as well as the freeze fee.

In some circumstances of financial hardship these fees may be modified. Reproductive Medicine Albury firmly believes that no couple should be denied access to fertility treatment for financial reasons.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Prices current as of 1 June 2011 and are for eligible Medicare card holders and patients under a valid referral. Registering your bank accounts details with Medicare will enable us to lodge your receipt directly with Medicare who can pay your rebate directly into your account within 5 working days.
