Pregnancy rates at Reproductive Medicine
Albury are some of the best in Australia.
We have seen constant improvements
in pregnancy rates due to the continuing quality systems we have
introduced. We expect a further improvement in results due to new technology we
are introducing.
Results are reported as
ongoing pregnancies per embryo transfer. |

Our unit transfers a maximum of
two embryos in all but a very few cases where special circumstances
prevail. |

58% of our patients have only one embryo transferred. As a result of the policy
of transferring only one or two embryos we have reduced our multiple
pregnancy rates (multiple pregnancies have increased complications
during pregnancy), whilst maintaining very good pregnancy rates.
